Dan Can™ Reading System was created by Judy Benn, M.A., BCET, a Board Certified Educational Therapist with more than 20 years of clinical experience helping children build strong literacy skills.

Built on structured literacy principles and aligned with the Science of Reading, the Dan Can™ Reading System combines decodable readers, phonics practice, high-frequency word recognition, and engaging stories to help early readers develop confidence from the start.

Designed for children ages 4–6, the system supports foundational reading skills including phonemic awareness, decoding, fluency, High Frequency word recognition, and early comprehension.

Our mission is simple: help children become confident readers before they fall behind.
